I grew up honoring my grandpa, a World War II veteran, and hoping to go into the military. Like many parents, mine weren’t too keen on the idea of me following in his footsteps and joining the military. And although I never enlisted, the dream of serving our country has never left me, nor the respect and gratitude I have for men and women in the service.

VA loans offer anyone with a DD214 (active or discharged) the chance to buy a home with a loan that requires zero down – and 100% financing. The VA loan requires no PMI insurance. These loans come at great rates, and have the option of being transferred and refinanced.
