Homes for Heroes – for teachers
The Homes for Heroes program was designed to help those who sacrifice and work for the good of our communities. In addition to law enforcement, health care workers and military personnel, teachers also fall under this umbrella. Your hard work and dedication to support families and children in our community does NOT go unnoticed. We know you do not get compensated for what you’re worth. We’ve seen the long hours, the growing list of requirements and the stress of testing you deal with year after year. All of this to say – we’ve noticed and at least here’s one thing that can help.
Real estate professionals in the Kansas City area have signed up to be part of this program that “gives back.” Agents have committed to giving back a portion of their commissions to the “heroes,” as well as to a non-profit organization, at every closing. Great program. Oftentimes teachers are unappreciated. Programs such as these is a great way to give back to individuals who are infulencing young minds.
